Automotive Mobile Service Technician (Remote - US)

This role offers a dynamic field-based opportunity to provide expert automotive maintenance and repairs directly at customer locations. You will diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles while delivering professional, high-quality support. This position combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, requiring strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Accountabilities:

• Perform on-site vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs across light and medium-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive systems including heating/air conditioning, brakes, drivetrain, suspension, steering, transmissions, and engines (gas and diesel).
• Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Submit accurate work orders and maintain thorough documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of their vehicles when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive service experience in light or medium-duty vehicles.
• Experience in one or more specialized areas: automobile, medium/heavy truck, school bus, or transit bus service.

Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements. ASE certification or ability to pass ASE certification tests. Strong diagnostic and repair skills with ability to work independently. Professional and customer-focused demeanor with excellent communication skills.
