Application Developer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will be an integral part of a high-performing Agile/DevSecOps team driving modernization initiatives. You will help decompose legacy applications into containerized solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver robust cloud-based applications. This position emphasizes innovation, efficiency, and adaptability in a remote work environment, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to both development and operational goals. You will engage with the latest cloud technologies, frameworks, and tools, while ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. Your work will directly support mission-critical projects and modernize existing systems for long-term impact. Accountabilities Decompose and modernize legacy applications into containerized cloud solutions. Collaborate with team members, including clients, to demo and deliver solutions in short sprint cycles. Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, NodeJS, Python, and modern frameworks. Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of solutions through automated testing and code reviews. Work independently with minimal supervision while actively participating in team discussions and Agile ceremonies. Adapt quickly to evolving requirements, technologies, and priorities. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and project goals. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 3 years of demonstrated cloud development experience in AWS, federal or commercial. Proficiency with programming languages: Java, NodeJS, Python. Experience with frameworks, tools, and platforms including Springboot/Quarkus, React/Angular, Kubernetes, GitLab, Docker, Jira, Confluence, Maven, Junit, Selenium, JBoss, Oracle Database, Postgres. Active Secret Clearance. Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
