    Job Description

We are a fast-growing hospitality and real estate group that provides thoughtfully designed, fully furnished apartments tailored for business travelers, digital nomads, and modern families, available on flexible terms that adapt to their lifestyle. As we continue to expand, with over 400 units already under management in Cyprus and plans to extend into Greece and beyond, we are seeking for a new member in our accounting operations across our Group companies, with a primary focus on maintaining accurate financial records, handling customer billing, ARs and APs.

    Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will embark on a diverse range of responsibilities that are crucial to our team's success. You will be instrumental in executing core tasks that not only support our projects but also drive innovation and efficiency within the organization. Your contributions will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes, analyzing data to inform decision-making strategies, and actively participating in brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions. Furthermore, you will take charge of specific projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with our company’s objectives and deliver tangible results. Your expertise and insights will be invaluable as you help shape our strategic direction and contribute to our dynamic work environment. Maintain the accuracy of financial records, including accounts receivable and general ledger. Perform daily reconciliations of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Process customers' billing and collections, while adhering to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis on financial trends. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. Operate internal controls relating to integrity of accounting data and application of operating policies. Assist in the coordination of audits and respond to audit inquiries as needed. Support cross-functional teams by providing financial information and analysis for decision-making. Monitor and report on financial discrepancies, variances, and unusual transactions. 1-3 years of relevant (bookkeeping) experience in a similar position Fluency in English, Greek is a plus BA in Accounting and/or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Prior Experience with accounting systems Knowledge of VAT, SDC & GESY is a plus Competitive compensation based on experience Annual bonus scheme Development Opportunities
