VIDEO EDITOR

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, capable of transforming raw footage into compelling video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Edit raw video footage to create high-quality ads, promotional videos, webinars, tutorials, and event highlights.


• Ensure videos are engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with the company’s brand and messaging.


• Collaborate with the events and content teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.


• Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content.


• Perform color correction, audio editing, and video stabilization.


• Add subtitles, captions, and other text overlays as needed.


• Export final videos in various formats suitable for web, social media, and other platforms.


• Review and proofread videos to ensure they meet quality standards and are error-free.


• Implement feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve video content.


• Organize and manage video files and project assets in the company’s Google Drive.


• Maintain an archive of completed video projects for future reference.


• Work closely with the creative team and other departments to ensure video projects meet organizational goals.


• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video content.

IDEAL PROFILE

• Fluent English


• 1-3 years of video production experience 


• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.


•  Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.


• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software like After Effects is a plus.


• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for web and social media.


•  Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.


• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.


• Creativity and a passion for storytelling through video.


• Organized, communicative, and adaptable to grow in a startup!


• Experience in the Tech Industry is a plus

CONTRACT: This is a Permanent, Full-time position (40h per week), with an Independent Contractor status.
