UX/UI Designer

At xpate, we're a small, agile team dedicated to simplifying and enhancing the way merchants and consumers connect globally. We are the Cashflow Champions, enabling companies to accelerate their growth. As a startup, every team member plays a critical role in shaping our journey and success. Today, we are looking for a Mid/Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team.
 

Responsibilities:

- Deeply understand and dive into user needs.

- Create prototypes and layouts for the web interfaces of our fintech product.

- Build and extend the design system.

- Design user journeys and organize information architecture.

- Collaborate closely with the team at all stages of product development, from stakeholders to developers.

- Manage your work independently and get things done without constant supervision.
 

Qualifications:

- Experience working on complex interface projects (e.g., e-commerce, fintech, or marketplaces).

- Ability to work with business requirements.

- Ability to translate complex functionality into intuitive interfaces.

- A user-centric approach: understanding the product beyond the screen and grasping users' needs and pain points.

- Ability to identify problems, edge cases, and gaps in the user experience.

- Openness to different opinions and the ability to justify your design decisions with solid reasoning.

Nice to have:

- Experience in analytics and UX research, including hypothesis generation and testing.

- Experience with design systems.

- Understanding of product metrics.

- A proactive attitude: suggesting new solutions and driving process change.
