System Developer to Extend

Do you want to be part of creating the system EQS of the future in Extend? Extend are looking for a committed and solution-oriented system developer - is it you?

Main areas of responsibility will be:

· Participate in further developing and improving software

· Plan and further develop new functionality and new modules

· Implement new functionality and improve existing functionality

· Participate in technical support for our customers

Wanted qualifications:

· Good programming skills and good knowledge of several of the technologies we use

· Preoccupied with program development and new technology

· Solution-oriented and happy with new challenges

· Education equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree in informatics/computer engineering

· Be fluent in Norwegian both orally and in writing

· Quick to get used to new tasks and new technology

· We want you to be familiar with or have experience in several of the following areas:

o General object oriented development

o Perl (used as main language in the application)

o Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSL etc

o Relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)

Extend AS was established in 1996 and delivers our self-developed, flexible web-based quality system EQS to over 300 customers and over 300,000 users. EQS is the market leader in a number of industries and delivers to both large and small customers in the private and public sector. The company is located at the Leiv Erikson center in Trondheim and has 16 employees who work with support, software development, marketing, sales and advisory services. Extend AS is owned by Confirma Software AB and together with them represents Norway's largest environment for quality systems and a large Nordic system development environment. We are in a period of strong turnover growth, have solid results and want to develop further.
