Software Development Engineer in Test - API - Fully Remote

Located in the heart of Dubai, but operating in a fully remote model, our client is a dynamic enterprise specialized in Software Development and Infrastructure Management.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Software Development Engineer in Test to join our client's innovative team.

What your responsibilities will include:

• Constantly improving automation framework, CI/CD processes, and documentation
• Enhancing the department's capabilities with Allure TestOps and other top-tier testing technologies
• Developing automated tests for UI, API, and performance
• Striving for the final goal of zero bugs on production following each release
• Coordinating and resolving bugs reported by clients, account managers, and support managers
• Preparing additional testing practices to prevent future bugs
• Evaluating quality, norms, and procedures, and participating in the development and implementation of quality policies
• Being responsible for overall product quality
• Analyzing test reports

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in QA Automation, with at least 2 years of experience in TypeScript
• Must-have knowledge of TypeScript and proficiency in Playwright or Puppeteer
• Strong understanding and experience with REST API, including automation for HTTP/HTTPs
• Good knowledge and experience with Docker
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and processes
• Fluency in English and Russian

• Proficiency in Jest, npm, and SQL
• Additional experience in K6, GitLab CI/CD, and security automation tools is a plus
