This role is remote within Costa Rica


Our Customer Success Strategy & Operations team uses valuable data and market research to help our customers succeed and guide value. Our teams collaborate to identify solutions using competitor and industry trend analysis, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. We're responsible for facilitating smooth transitions during organizational change efforts that promote employee adoption. You'll help solve challenges faced by our frontline teams to help make Zscaler more efficient in meeting our customers' needs.


The Customer Success Operations Team is hiring a Senior (or Staff level) Data Analyst in Costa Rica. You will delve into data, uncover patterns, and transform insights into recommendations and strategies. Your primary focus will be on analyzing customer data to enhance the customer experience and improve business growth. Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence you'll be responsible for:



  • Analyze and Present data insights: Collect, vet, streamline and present information to support decision-making and action.

  • Collaboration: build relationships, influence, and collaborate at all levels to bring plans forward and adapt to changing needs.

  • End-to-End Accountability: develop data-driven proposals, analyses, and readouts. Deliverables are inclusive of POCs, wireframes, data instrumentation, and visualizations.


 


What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)



  • 8+ years of experience in Business Insights and Analytics, with 4+ years using Tableau; Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, Snowflake, dbt, Salesforce.com, and dimensional modeling/data warehousing concepts. Large datasets manipulation for performance optimization.

  • Expertise in developing POCs, wireframes, data instrumentation, visualizations, and skills in descriptive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics.

  • Experience advising both technical and non-technical audiences, refining and redefining Key Performance Indicators, and driving forward business recommendations.

  • Experience working with different levels of leadership, create analytics solutions in a versatile environment (Support, Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, and Professional Services) and collaboration.


What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)



  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analytical approaches; experience in data analysis with a variety of metrics and statistical methods.

  • Experience solving ambiguous problems, managing multiple concurrent projects; Experience with SAP HANA, SQL Server, GCP, Business Objects, Qlik, and logical to physical data modeling tools like Erwin and ER.

  • Track record in optimizing processes, leading iterative review cycles, and setting up SOPs to improve dashboard results and unlock efficiency.
