We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Lead to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth, develop key client relationships, and contribute to the strategic expansion of our business in the animal healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the Animal Care sector.
  • Lead the sales team by example, providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within veterinary clinics, hospitals, universities, and other relevant institutions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with market needs and product capabilities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Represent Cambridge Technology at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Veterinary Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership within the animal healthcare industry, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of animal nutrition products, veterinary products, services, and industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Established network of contacts within the animal healthcare industry.
