Senior Application Engineer, Solution Engineering
Location: Sweden or Denmark - Hybrid, Home Office, or Office based
Position Summary:
Your Day-to-Day:
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge
- Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
- Perform value and benefit oriented technical presentations of Bentley products and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver both overarching solution demonstrations and bespoke tailored demonstrations for individual prospects or during marketing events.
- Work with the wider sales team to identify and analyse business issues and opportunities
- Assist Business Development and Sales personnel in technical proposal development for prospects and existing customers
- Provide your experience and knowledge of user requirements to help product management to design and develop new products and services
- Develop standard demonstration sets and content for selected products
- Knowledge transfer to partners and strengthen Bentley ecosystem
- This is a full-time role, based at home, in a Bentley office or a hybrid to suit your preference
- Travel within Nordics and EU up to 25% of the time on average
What You Bring To The Team:

- Presentation skills and public speaking experience is desirable
- Comprehensive understanding of electronic document management with strong emphasis on engineering design
- Familiarity with relational databases, including administration, operation and maintenance with Microsoft SQL Server
- Excellent writing skills are a must, as s/he will be responsible for writing white papers and communicating product details and applications to the public
- Ability to communicate value and benefit propositions to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority
- BIM digital workflow experience
