Sales Engineer
Fetcherr is at the forefront of revolutionizing the airline Revenue Management domain with their Large Market Model, which is a proprietary GenerativeAI based micro decision-making business tool. Fetcherr’s Generative Pricing Engine has made headlines across the industry, helping achieve a solid client base and garnering several awards as the hottest AI startup in the Airline industry. Following a large VC-backed investment round, they are looking for a driven and experienced Head of Sales to lead their EMEA efforts, bringing innovative solutions to airlines across the region.
Role Overview:
The Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales team, understanding customer requirements, and tailoring Fetcherr's AI-based product suite to meet those needs. This role requires a combination of strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively demonstrate the benefits of our technology to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert for Fetcherr’s product suite (pricing, inventory, network optimization), understanding its features, functionality, and benefits to effectively communicate these to potential clients.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with the sales team to engage with customers, identify their needs, and demonstrate how Fetcherr's solutions can address their challenges.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to design tailored solutions that align with their specific business requirements, ensuring optimal alignment with Fetcherr’s product offerings and unique AI capabilities.
- Presentations & Demos: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept activities to showcase the capabilities and advantages of Fetcherr's technology.
- RFP/RFI Responses: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, responses to RFPs/RFIs, and other sales documentation to support the sales process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.
Must Have:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or similar technical sales role, preferably within the aviation or travel technology sector (pricing, RMS, PSS).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in software solutions, SaaS, and data analytics. Knowledge of airline revenue management systems and pricing is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-Centric: Strong customer orientation with a proven ability to understand and address customer needs and challenges.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the EMEA and APAC region to meet with clients and support sales activities.
