Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Safety Manager PMD based in Rabat, with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in product design & manufacturing (BCI), Product Safety & Durability. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Safety Assessments (FMEA, DFMEA, Impact Analysis, etc.), experience with PLM, APQP, 3D-Com, Edge, MS Office applications, GST, and proficiency with PDP. Knowledge of the ISO 26262 process is mandatory.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Perform the BCI Impact Analysis, create the subsequent Dependability Plan, and define the adjusted BCI Safety Case and Durability Plan.
  • In close collaboration with Safety Engineers and Design Functions (SSTM, SSTL, DRE, etc.), ensure the convergence and completeness of the Safety Case.
  • Provide Product Safety and DuRA insights to Design Functions to support concept decisions, RFQs, supplier selection, change management, etc.
  • Provide Safety Requirements to enhance design robustness and contribute to the consolidation of the Design Verification Plan from Safety and DuRA perspectives.
  • Throughout the development process, provide a clear view of Safety Customer Events and Safety Case status to the SSTM and the Project (Vehicle Safety Manager, etc.).
  • Approve Safety Validation Reports, gather synthesis, and lead Safety Reviews.
  • Provide an overview of BCI, including current status and related catch-up plans, as a contribution to Level 3 meetings, Design Assessments, Safety Audits, Safety Releases & Assessments, and Durability Assessments. Activate reaction rules, trigger escalation, and/or deviations when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    i. 3 to 5 years of experience in product design and manufacturing (BCI), Product Safety, and Durability within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
    ii. Experience with PLM, APQP, 3D-Com, Edge, MS Office applications, and GST.
    iii. Strong understanding of Safety Assessments (FMEA, DFMEA, Impact Analysis, etc.).

    Skills: Strong reporting skills, ability to synthesize information, and leadership capabilities.

    Languages: Proficient in both French and English.
