Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Service & Project Operations Manager to lead our IT services and project management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing IT services and projects, with a proven track record in resource sourcing, team management, and project execution. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of IT service delivery and project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Service Management:
- - Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT service delivery, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and customer satisfaction.
- - Develop and implement IT service management processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- - Monitor and report on service performance metrics, and implement improvement plans as needed.
Project Management:
- - Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- - Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Resource Sourcing:
- - Identify, evaluate, and engage with external vendors and partners to fulfill project and operational resource requirements.
- - Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Team Management:
- - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth.
- - Ensure adequate training and development opportunities are available to the team.
Process Improvement:
- - Continuously assess and improve IT service and project management processes to align with industry best practices.
- - Implement automation and other technologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Stakeholder Communication:
- - Act as the primary point of contact for IT service and project-related inquiries, providing regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- - Prepare and present reports on project status, service performance, and key initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management and project management roles.
- - Strong knowledge of ITIL, PMP, or other relevant frameworks and certifications.
- - Proven experience in resource sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- - Proficiency in project management tools and software.
