Note:- This role involves close collaboration with our North America clients, requiring the candidate to work in the CET time zone. The position is based in Delhi and follows a hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Define QA initiatives throughout the entire software life cycle.
- Provide appropriate planning and execution in regression testing, performance testing, and other non-functional testing to ensure successful application deployment.
- Design and execute test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate in a cross-function delivery team to ensure that all aspects of quality are actively discussed and addressed during the delivery process.
- Work with clients to help resolve issues around quality.
- Update and maintain best QA procedures and standards, including test planning and data preparation.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners.
- Define and analyze performance objectives and measure against targets.
- Provide input to the QA manager/Team lead for all QA-related activities and dependencies.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance.
- Hands on experience in OTT domain and API testing using postman and Charles proxy.
- Test planning, creating test scripts from requirements.
- Experience testing with some media streaming devices and preparing the devices to be tested (load apps directly into the device, configure devices, manage APK files, etc).
- Experience in a client-facing professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of software Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of manual testing tools.
- Strong experience in planning QA activities without guidance (self-sufficient).
- Experience with clear and good reporting.
- Self-motivated, passionate, responsible, and a good team player.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Good communicator, detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
