Job Description

Do you have a background in Life Sciences and want to elevate your sales career? LGC offers an exciting opportunity to join us as a Product Specialist, supporting the sales and distribution of our dynamic ATCC portfolio across Italy and other EMEA regions if required. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth by engaging with internal and external customers and providing essential support Core ATCC Team and Field Sales Personnel (FAS).

Key Responsibilities
As Product Specialist, you ​ will

  • Manage enquiries from all channels, produce accurate quotations promptly, and follow up to improve conversion rates and order outcomes
  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve goals and tailor responses to customer needs, especially for Italian tender documents
  • Provide first-level technical support, handle ATCC enquiries according to guidelines, and raise issues as needed
  • Implement local LGC/ATCC strategies in line with the EMEA sales and marketing plan and support Technical Sales Specialists at events
  • Maintain service levels to key customers, act as an intermediary between Order Entry and Customer Service, and use ERP systems, Salesforce, and other tools to support sales efforts

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Degree in Life Sciences or a related field to Cell Biology
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service, demonstrating a proactive approach to sales activities within a scientific environment
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian and English and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills: Prioritization capabilities aligned with commercial activities
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
