Meight is a seed-stage tech startup based in Portugal that just raised €3.5 million to make a dent in the Road Freight industry. We’re building the first OS for Road Freight, a vertical software solution for Road Freight carriers.

Job Summary:

Meight is looking for an online Go-To-Market Specialist that will play a crucial role in the launch and scalable growth of Meight in the European market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of online marketing, product positioning, and market dynamics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Go-To-Market Strategies:

- Create comprehensive go-to-market plans for new launches and major updates.

- Identify target markets, customer segments, and key value propositions.


2. Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

- Analyze data to inform product positioning, messaging, and marketing tactics.


3. Product Positioning and Messaging:


- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.

- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure consistency in communication.


4. Digital Marketing Campaigns:


- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to achieve KPIs.


5. Content Creation and Management:


- Work with the content team to create engaging and relevant content that supports go-to-market strategies.

- Ensure all content aligns with the overall marketing strategy and brand voice.


6. Customer Engagement and Retention:


- Develop strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and advocacy.

- Implement programs that encourage customer feedback and leverage insights to improve products and services.


7. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:


- Collaborate with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for go-to-market initiatives.

- Coordinate with external partners and agencies to enhance marketing efforts.

- Report directly to founding team.


8. Performance Tracking and Reporting:


- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the success of go-to-market activities.

- Prepare and present regular reports on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in go-to-market roles, preferably in a Seed to series A SaaS environment 

- Native German speaker.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and techniques.

- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo) and marketing automation platforms.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
