Job Description

The role:

Logistics Specialist Outbound

 

Summary of the role:

The role involves being responsible for customer interactions, ensuring the effective execution of sales contracts, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Job Description:

-Responsible for customer facing, ensuring optional execution of sales contracts, while providing high quality customer service.

-Work directly with sales trader daily to understand each customer’s needs and develop a professional relationship with them. Building relationships with the logistics supply chain.

-This position is responsible for sending delivery orders from the customer to the warehouse, then ensuring all communication from that point is clear and correct, with the goal of the coffee being put successfully on a truck and delivered.

-Manage relationships with freight companies including finding competitive quotes for shipping, confirming rates with customer, and booking the shipment.  End Goal being successful delivery of the coffee.

-Create and send invoices to customers.

-Manage customer position, inventory turnover, client deliveries

-Update system according to executed importation into the US.

Assist and provide support in the different areas of the Sucafina Americas team as required

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

-University degree (Major in Foreign Trade, International Business, or Logistics is a plus) 

-Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP is a plus)

-5+ years or more of experience in customer service, sales, international logistics. 

-A strong work ethic, motivated by a desire of knowledge, curiosity and understanding. Detail-oriented & inquisitive

-Fluent in English both written & spoken, other languages a plus. (C1 level)

-Knowledge in soft-agri commodities preferred (coffee industry is a plus).

-Microsoft Office suite, advanced excel skills needed, (power BI, SharePoint a plus)

-Knowledge of International Incoterms

-Experience with customer service
