Job Summary: As an Independent Travel Agent, you will operate independently or under the umbrella of a host agency to provide personalized travel planning and booking services to clients. You will leverage your expertise in travel destinations, products, and logistics to create customized travel experiences tailored to individual client preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Consultation:

    • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their travel preferences, including destinations of interest, budget considerations, accommodation preferences, transportation preferences, and special requirements.
    • Provide expert advice, recommendations, and options based on client needs and preferences.
    • Offer insights into travel destinations, attractions, activities, cultural experiences, and travel advisories.
  2. Travel Planning and Booking:

    • Research, plan, and organize travel itineraries that include flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, activities, and special services as requested by clients.
    • Utilize various booking systems, online travel platforms, and industry connections to secure reservations and confirm travel arrangements.
    • Ensure all bookings comply with travel regulations, restrictions, and client preferences.
  3. Customer Service and Support:

    • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and during travel.
    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
    • Assist clients with changes to their travel plans, cancellations, emergencies, and post-travel inquiries.
  4. Sales and Business Development:

    • Promote travel products, packages, and special promotions to generate sales and revenue.
    • Upsell additional services such as travel insurance, car rentals, airport transfers, guided tours, and travel enhancements.
    • Build and maintain client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
  5. Documentation and Administration:

    • Prepare and distribute detailed travel itineraries, confirmations, invoices, and travel documents to clients.
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, client interactions, and financial transactions.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Working Conditions:
