Fullstack Software Development Engineer in Test - Fully Remote

Located in the heart of Dubai, but operating in a fully remote model, our client is a dynamic enterprise specialized in Software Development and Infrastructure Management.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Fullstack Software Development Engineer in Test to join our client's innovative team.

What your responsibilities will include:

• Driving automation solutions development and improvements
• Succeeding with daily tasks in a fast-changing environment
• Analyzing business requirements and converting them into test scenarios
• Preparing release test-plans, including smoke, regression, and acceptance scenarios
• Performing smoke, regression, and acceptance testing
• Conducting sanity testing for fixed issues
• Conducting both manual and automation testing 
• Utilizing test design techniques to build effective and comprehensive test coverage without redundancy
• Writing API and UI automated tests using existing frameworks
• Drafting clear test documentation and instructions
• Preparing testing results reports and investigating found issues
• Participating in code reviews
• Mentoring team members

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in a QA fullstack role (with at least 3 years in a Senior QA fullstack role)
• At least 3 years of versatile experience in TypeScript/JavaScript automation
• At least 3 years of versatile experience in Java automation
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, strategies, and practices
• Deep understanding of test-case design
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of REST API
• Experience in developing automation tests for both UI and API
• Strong knowledge and experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in TestNG, Maven
• Versatile experience with GitLab CI/CD and Docker
• Desire to write automation tests and support manual testing

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience in development using design patterns and SOLID principles
• Familiarity with Protobuf, gRPC, S3, FIX, and other API types
• Experience with the Go language
• Experience in load testing and security testing
• Proficiency in SQL (writing queries of medium complexity)
• Advanced user of the Atlassian package (JIRA, Confluence)
