Polestar is currently looking for an Electrical Architecture Intern that will help set up the Car configuration setup for Polestar with the Electrical Architecture and Strategy team.

What you’ll do

Electrical Architecture and Strategy is a team within SW&E department are based in Sweden and UK. The EE Architecture will be developed in accordance with the various industry standards for security, safety and diagnostics. You will ensure the configuration management, architecture, systems, and network design is robust, safe and flexible from initial concept though to series production and beyond. You will be working with all areas of the business (commodity, Attribute and Programme) to deliver all aspects of the EE Architecture. Your responsibilities will be:

Maintain Central Car configuration database and logic files for overall Platform



    • Creating car configuration logics

    • Releasing logic files

    • Supporting vehicle builds with required files

    • Modifying  car configuration parameters




The work will be performed in the following areas:


  • EE architecture

  • System engineering

  • Network designing.

You are eager to find solutions even if the path forward is not straight. You are good with numbers and have no trouble finding facts and figures.

Required Experience:

  • Ongoing Electrical, Electronic Systems, Electro-mechanical, Automotive, or similar engineering degree.

  • Basic Software programming language skills

  • Some knowledge on Automotive and System engineering (Optional)

  • Understand WoW and process in Electrical and SW departments.

  • Basic knowledge on system engineering process

  • Get good knowledge on how vehicle configurations are designed.

  • How car configurations are linked with SW blocks

  • Learning experience on car config testing and debugging

  • Get good exposure to vehicle life cycle and different of development

  • Get hands on experience on config development and testing tools
