Are you ready to be part of something groundbreaking? At IQM, we're on the cutting edge of the next technological frontier, and we're looking for a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer.

The quantum computer is a mix of modern high-performance computing toolchains and low-level hardware, which communicates with IQM's state-of-the-art QPU. Our department produces scalable software that enables computational and experimental operations for various users. In this role you will build, improve and monitor our software CI/CD pipelines while supporting best-in-class software deliveries to our customers. Therefore, you have a key role in securing quality software. You will benefit from an in-depth understanding of Linux operating systems, and infrastructure-as-code.

If this would make you sparkle, please let us know about
your experience or interest in the following areas:

  • Solid experience in building and maintaining CI pipelines.
  • Knowledge and/or interest about OS package managers.
  • Familiarity with Python and shell scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration and workload management tools.
  • Knowledge in infrastructure automation/orchestration.
  • Experience working with Linux OS.
  • Knowledge using observability tools to monitor and research usage.


What skills do I need?

Note we don't expect long experience in the field or familiarity with the quantum computer infrastructure.
