Job Description: A leader in the Health Insurance industry, is looking for a talented and adaptable Data and Reporting Analyst who thrives in an environment without formal processes and is eager to help create and improve operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, be bilingual in both English and Spanish, and possess the ability to work on diverse projects while building and maintaining databases integrated with our systems. While financial reporting experience is a plus, a passion for healthcare data is essential, and proficiency in Excel is vital for data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize databases that seamlessly integrate with our systems.
  • Perform data analysis to uncover trends, insights, and actionable recommendations in the Health Insurance industry.
  • Generate and disseminate timely and accurate reports to support decision-making within healthcare operations.
  • Utilize object-oriented programming languages, such as Python or C++, for data analysis and automation.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards to visualize healthcare data effectively.
  • Continuously monitor data quality and ensure data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data processes and operational efficiency.
  • Align availability either in the mornings or evenings to support our organizational workflow.
  • Adapt to new projects and challenges in our dynamic, startup-like environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management).
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience with data analytics and a passion for healthcare data.
  • Strong database management skills and experience in integrating databases with systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel for healthcare data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages, such as Python or C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to convey healthcare data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an environment without formal processes and eager to help create and refine operations.
