Job Description:
We are looking for a creative, driven, and passionate Community Customer Intern to join our team at Mekari. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community management, from handling community groups to executing referral programs. You will play an essential role in nurturing and growing our community while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in managing and moderating online and offline community groups, ensuring active participation and engagement.
- Handle the full cycle of our community customer referral program.
- Develop creative and engaging content tailored to our community’s needs, including social media posts, newsletters, event invitations, and forum discussions.
- Foster a strong sense of community through proactive communication, identifying community needs, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of community events, both virtual and in-person, to drive engagement.
- Track community issues, gather feedback, and provide insights to improve community programs and campaigns.
- Work closely with the commercial, customer success, PMO, and PMM team to align community initiatives with company goals.
- Continuously brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to grow and engage our community effectively.
Requirements:
- Final year student or have recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, social science, or a related field.
- Ability to develop original ideas to solve problems and engage the community.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa and English.
- Experience using whatsapp community for engagement and content creation.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating across different departments.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
- Familiarity with content management tools, good taste, basic design skills (canva), and experience in community management.
