The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager for our EMENA region focusing on Resource Optimization (MinePlan & Drill/Blast Portfolios). This mid-level role will involve shaping and driving the business development strategy for resource optimization programs in an effort to maximize business growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for optimizing resources and driving business growth in the EMENA region.
  • Identify new business opportunities, manage customer relationships and negotiate business contracts.
  • Collaborate with regional teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product advancement aligns with market needs.
  • Attend regional and industry-specific trade shows and conferences, representing the organization professionally.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budget planning to assure necessary future sales growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, Technical Sales or similar roles.
  • A bachelor's degree in mining, Geology, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience in the mining industry or geospatial technology industry.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with an ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, and a passion for driving deals to successful completion.

Nice-to-haves:

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • A robust network within the Mining industry.
  • Experience working with multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Previous role in a technology-driven industry.
