Role overview: 

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead data-driven projects from inception to completion, defining objectives and methodologies and presenting key findings and recommendations. Your primary responsibilities will include developing self-service data tools and automated reports in Looker, working with various departments to identify core KPIs, and providing data visualization solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead data-driven projects by defining objectives and methodologies and presenting findings and recommendations.

  • Analyze business data to identify trends and insights that support strategic planning and inform decision-making.

  • Develop processes for monitoring key business data and share insights and root causes in a timely manner. 

  • Work closely with the executive, business, and technical teams to analyze unique business problems and deliver actionable solutions through creative problem-solving and insightful reports.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify core KPIs, assess their data needs, and develop self-service data tools and automated reports using Looker.

  • Contextualize outcomes and data to capture the micro level while not losing sight of the macro perspective.

  • Handle large-scale, complex datasets in extensive data warehouse environments.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new methodologies relevant to business analysis.


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of data, metrics, and general business needs

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in using Looker Studio/Looker or related tools

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, with a strong emphasis on analytics and reporting.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges, 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to produce deliverables on schedule.

  • Exceptional communication skills that allow presenting complex concepts in a clear, concise, and logical manner

  • Demonstrate flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

  • Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouses

  • Experience with high-volume, publishing-supported websites

  • Experience building models for future projections and impact analysis  

  • Experience in Test -and-learn methodologies and measuring ROI


Employment terms:

  • Contract type of your choosing - B2B or Contract of Employment

  • The first contract will be signed for six months

  • Salary (monthly): 

    • EURO: 2350 - 4230 net B2B or 1960 - 3500 gross CoE 

    • PLN (Poland-located employees): 10 000 - 18 000 net B2B or 8 500 - 15 000 gross CoE

  • Work equipment such as a laptop or headphones

  • Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

Recruitment process:

  • An introduction call with the recruiter where you will learn more about the position (30-40 minutes) 

  • Task to evaluate your data knowledge (this should not take more than 2-3 hours of work. You will have five days to send back your assignment)

  • Task follow-up + role-related interview with our product analyst and SEO specialist (90 minutes)

  • Cognitive Ability and Culture Fit Interview with our COO and Head of HR (90 minutes)

  • Finally, we may ask for references from your previous employers.

How long do we process your data?

Most of our advertisements concern positions for which we are constantly recruiting. The selection of a given candidate does not close the recruitment process. In these cases, we process your personal data for the time necessary to select the best candidate, but no longer than 12 months from receiving your application.
