As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing client accounts, and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. This position is ideal for someone who has experience in bookkeeping within the tax sector and is looking for a part-time remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee financial transactions, including invoices and payments for clients.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports and tax filings.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and compliance standards.
  • Work approximately 20-30 hours per week, with flexible hours.


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, especially in a tax agency setting.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and GUSTO software.
  • Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
