About the role

At Flanks, we are looking for a Back Office Specialist with solid experience of three to five years in the private banking or family office sector, in French speaking territories. If you are a motivated professional motivated, passionate about financial services and are looking for an exciting challenge in a dynamic exciting challenge in a dynamic environment, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all data entries and updates, cross-referencing with original documents and third-party sources as necessary.
  • Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies and problems related to customer transactions and accounts.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain detailed records of all assets, including real estate, investments, trusts, bank accounts, and other holdings.
  • Data Extraction: Extract relevant information from PDFs and other documents to incorporate into asset management databases.
  • Financial Operations Control: Oversee the financial operations exchange of clients with various banking entities.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate on projects to improve and automate processes.
  • Database Utilization: Support different areas of the company by exploiting the database.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the client and banks, external advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and financial advisors.

Things we'd love to see on you

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Finance, or a Higher Degree in Administration or related fields.
    • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in administrative, audit, or accounting roles within the financial/banking sector.
    • Language Skills: French native. Advanced level of English. Spanish is a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and methodical.
    • Results-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving results.

The hiring process

This is how the usual hiring process looks like:

  3. A meeting with our Head of Operations, Sergi Vega.
  4. Business case presentation to the Head of Operations.
  5. Optionally, any other meeting you or us might need to clarify any pending questions.

We expect a few days to pass between each step. We aim for a process as short as one week and never longer than one month.
