Key Accountabilities:
We are looking for a finance professional who brings 1-3 years of solid experience in various finance roles, primarily within RTR (Record to Report) operations, including general ledger and controlling, with a strong understanding of diverse financial processes. In dealing with the day-to-day tasks the person in this role should be comfortable with the start-up nature of the business and thus be flexible and adoptable to the changing environment and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation of journal entries
- Responsible for preparation of reconciliations and other schedules required as part of the month-end and quarter-end close process
- Ensure quality of accounting to ensure compliance with KDN Finance Principles and Policies and accuracy in all financial reporting is maintained
- Perform accurate bank and payroll booking to ensure timely financial processing.
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statements as necessary
- Assist in preparation of working papers and any additional information for the interim and annual audit
- Support interim and annual statutory and internal audits of all KDN entities
- As needed assist in the set-up of the financial reporting for new entities including the set-up and testing of new month end reconciliations and closing entries
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year progressive financial and management accounting experience
- Knowledge of IFRS, internal controls and SOX requirements
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Numerate with advanced Excel skills
- Experience performing financial reporting tasks for a US or UK listed company is preferred
- Minimum an undergraduate degree in business or finance
- CPA or other comparable accounting qualification is preferred
- Self-motivated and proven ability to manage to deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Manages conflicting demands and priorities
- Identifies lessons learned from challenging incidents
- Actively gathers knowledge, learns from experience, and learns from others
